“Demon MVP if he never got injured” – Joel Embiid goes WILD with 50-point night to give hopes to Philly fans in playoffs
Joel Embiid battled knee problems in the first two games of the playoffs.

Philadelphia 76ers superstar Joel Embiid
After losing to the New York Knicks in the first two games of their 1st round playoffs, the Philadelphia 76ers went home thinking about getting back on track. Naturally, the onus of that falls on their superstar big man Joel Embiid. And he did not disappoint, exploding for 50 points to hand the Knicks a road loss and trimming the deficit as they head into Game 4.
As the series depended on Joel Embiid‘s health and subsequent play, he returned to his dominating best tonight. He left no doubt in the minds of fans that he is undoubtedly the reigning league MVP and one of the best players on the court. He took over the game in a way only elite superstars do. Dominating the paint, the big man’s production was enough to almost counter that from three of the starters on the New York Knicks.
Embiid single-handedly rendered their production useless while his teammates took care of the rest. It must be noted that this box office performance comes on the back of his questionable knee. The superstar has been battling knee issues from the time he returned from his meniscus injury.
With this win, the Philadelphia 76ers can breathe a sigh of relief. Game 4 is again at the Wells Fargo Center on Sunday.
