John Cena is one of the greatest rivals of The Rock’s professional wrestling career. These two superstars have faced off in back-to-back WrestleMania main events, one of them being for the WWE Championship. Despite both of them having transitioned to Hollywood, it appears that their professional wrestling rivalry still has some juice left.

After making his return at Bad Blood, The Rock went live on his Instagram account shortly after the show went off the air. The People’s Champion pointed at a production truck featuring a photo of Dusty Rhodes. He said that the American Dream was one of his heroes and that he loved him. However, he had nothing but hate for his son. He also turned to a truck featuring Cena and told him to go eat Fruity Pebbles, which was a throwback to their feud.

In response to The Great One’s remarks against him, the Cenation leader posted a photo of the Fruity Pebbles Cereal Box on his Instagram. As is usually the case with his Instagram account, the post contained no caption or any further explanation.

These two wrestling legends had a brief interaction during the main event of WrestleMania XL. Cena came out to even the odds against the Bloodline, putting Solo Sikoa through the announcer’s table and hitting Roman Reigns with an AA. The Rock came out shortly after to land a Rock Bottom on the 47-year-old.

Cena has already announced his upcoming retirement tour in 2025. With both these superstars hitting the apex of their careers, them facing off one last time would not only be a treat for the fans but also a huge money match for the promotion.

Bronson Reed claims he is the perfect heel to face John Cena

Nearly the entire WWE roster is lining up to face John Cena one last time before he hangs up his boots for good. Raw superstar Bronson Reed is no exception, claiming that he might be the perfect heel to go up against the Cenation leader. Speaking on Insights with Chris Van Vleet, the Australian said that he wanted to be involved in the main event picture and the World Heavyweight Championship scene.

Reed said that the current champion, Gunther, is a heel, which makes their match-up a little harder to pull off. However, there are other top babyfaces such as CM Punk and Rey Mysterio that he would like to work with in the near future.

I’d like to work with a CM Punk, Rey Mysterio and even John Cena when he’s back so, I think I’d be a perfect… I’m the perfect John Cena heel. The matches he had with Umaga and those guys. I’d be perfect against him.

Furthermore, if John Cena is set to break Ric Flair’s record by winning the world title in 2025, the 36-year-old believes that he would be a perfect enemy for the former Doctor of Thuganomics. Reed recalled the incredible matches Cena had put on against the likes of Umaga. If given a shot, he was sure that they could put on a similar great match as well.
