Josh Hart Joins Fans to Troll Tim Hardaway Sr.’s ‘No Podcast For Active Athletes’ Take – “I Agree”
Tim Hardaway Sr. has been suggesting for the past few years that active players should keep their opinions to themselves.

With every passing day, more and more active athletes are starting podcasts. Draymond Green may have almost pioneered it, but the likes of Josh Hart and several others have taken it to the masses. Some of them have surpassed those run by former players such as Tim Hardaway Sr.
Before this came about, the media space was generally filled with analysts who may or may not have some experience playing professionally.
But once their opinions started to become more into creating narratives, active players decided to counter those with actual stories of what goes down behind the scenes.
They may not have reached the stage where they can usurp mainstream media, or even those former athletes who have had a jumpstart in the podcast space, but the threat is there. So much so that most of these analysts and former players are trying to suggest that active athletes should concentrate on their game rather than focus on building a podcast career.
This criticism reached its height when Paul George seemingly struggled with his health and form during his first season with the Philadelphia 76ers. Now, the attention may not be towards him, but still, a former player decided to criticize those currently playing.
During the season, like Draymond, I don’t agree with. It’s alright to them, but I feel like you’re disrespecting these other teams. You’re talking about these other teams, you know, and Adam Silver just let it go. David Stern would’ve said, ‘Hell no, we’re not doing that.‘

whether it’s Jaylen Brown, Paul George, or Draymond Green. Adam Silver lets it slide, but David Stern would’ve never have allowed it pic.twitter.com/dPFCt6wdPx
The 59-year-old made it clear that in his time, then-commissioner David Stern would not have allowed it. That is because one player criticizing another team, as per him, is not fair.
Josh Hart starts fan trolls Tim Hardaway Sr. in the most effective way
When fans first came to learn about this, they took to social media to tear into Tim Hardaway Sr. They pointed out that he was just salty that his own podcast, Crossover, on which he said this, was not doing as well as those by current athletes.
Fans felt that this was another instance where former players criticize those currently playing, because they have it easier and better. It is just that they mask it with a different narrative.
But just like fans saw through it, so did Josh Hart. The New York Knicks star took the lead in trolling the former Miami Heat great, after which the rest just followed.

The old players are mentally stuck in their eras. Times change and things change. If social media was out back then Rodman or somebody would have had a pod.

If so called NBA media wasn’t so moronic you wouldn’t need the actual players to start podcasts to actually tell the people how the game really is

It’s the bitter old head jealous of today’s player that shouldn’t have podcasts. I wanna hear from active players. Not them

I used to think the same thing, but then I saw brunson n hart win a chip.Things change.

How can you control what somebody do on their own time?

And retired and old ex nba players shouldn't be talking about modern hoops…see how that works

Josh Hart and his teammate, Jalen Brunson, proved more than anyone that they can run a podcast while also winning a championship. Other players are also proving that they can do the same and be successful. Therefore, Tim Hardaway Sr.’s logic does not apply.
Tim Hardaway Sr. believes LeBron James will join the Heat
Other than his opinion on active player podcasts, Tim Hardaway Sr. appeared on Jim Rome‘s show, where the latter asked the former guard what he thought about LeBron James‘ future.

He’s not going to Golden State. Unless they get rid of Mobley or Allen, I don’t think LeBron is going to go there (Cavs)… The longer that you wait, I think he’s going to Miami… Pat Riley he’s been talking to him now.
Tim Hardaway Sr. said
The UTEP great made it clear that if negotiations continue to drag, his Miami Heat have a chance to re-sign the King. James’ return to the organization that won him his first two titles gives them that edge.

On top of that, considering what the other teams will have to do to lure the four-time league MVP, Hardaway Sr. believes his former team has a better chance to bring back James.
