It’s human, you gotta be able to control it. That’s the key in all this. If you’re going to dish it out, be ready or prepared for somebody to dish it back to you.
Kyrie Irving said

Irving did not miss the opportunity to poke fun at Westbrook for getting kicked out of the game while being on the losing end. The star also admitted that such circumstances might take place further in games of the series. It would certainly be exciting to see if the Los Angeles Clippers manage to make a comeback and redeem themselves.

Westbrook usually plays an essential role for the team but was only able to score a single point in game 3. The point guard’s important minutes in the fourth quarter could have helped the Clippers cut down the lead to single digits. It is safe to say that Westbrook’s ejection may have cost the Clippers the game.

Luka Doncic is used to players attempting to fight him

Luka Doncic is one of the most dominating players in the NBA today, however, the star rarely gets physical on the court. During the game, Westbrook tried to go at Doncic multiple times but the Dallas Mavericks guard walked away each time. Even his teammate PJ Washington had his back in this.

In the press conference, Doncic was asked about the altercation. The player started with praise for his teammate by calling Washington ‘amazing’. Further Doncic acknowledged that altercations are a part of basketball and talked about the reason behind his calm attitude in the game.

Cause I'm used to that. I'm used to players coming at me. So I was just trying to stay calm and keep playing basketball.

It seemed like it was an aggressive night for Westbrook as the star was called for a flagrant foul before the altercation and was also seen chirping with fans. Westbrook and the Clippers as a unit need to perform better in the next game to tie the series. Only James Harden was able to score in double digits among the big 4 of the team.
