This week’s SmackDown featured a massive turn of events when LA Knight interfered in a stellar match during the show. During the match-up between Andrade and Carmelo Hayes, The Megastar rushed to the ring to confront the latter. However, this accidently caused a distraction for El Idolo and cost him the match.

Following SmackDown, Andrade took to X to tell Knight that he has no respect for him due to his attitude. The United States Champion had a stern response, telling the former AEW star to not blame him for his own failures. In addition to that, he even declared war against the 34-year-old and Hayes following the events that transpired on SmackDown.

Don’t blame me because you couldn’t get the job done… I don’t need your respect, but I need you two to finish your business so I can give you both a BFT and move on…YEAH

There was some tension between Knight and Andrade following their match last week on SmackDown. Meanwhile, Hayes also got physically involved with the United States Champion this week. Therefore, it seems like WWE is planting the seeds for a potential triple threat match down the line.

Carmelo and El Idolo are level in their series of matches. The next bout will be the decisive battle between the two stars. Therefore, it is going to be interesting to see how things are going to transpire in the mid-card division on SmackDown.

Speaking with Reality of Wrestling, the United States Champion said that from the very first year of his career he knew he had an unfathomable connection with the crowd. He added that he was confident that he could say the right things at the right time, which helped him connect with the fans to another extent.

Okay, this, okay, well let’s bring that in, and let’s do this, and does this fit? Okay, cool.’ And a lot of it was just kind of happy accidents. So I guess I kind of knew I was good at it maybe in that first year.
