Latwogang broke the Guinness World Record for the amount raised during a single livestream, surpassing the record held by YouTuber MrBeast. He streamed from his apartment in Warsaw, Poland.
We, as Poles, have officially broken the Guinness record when converted into złoty. This is the biggest charity livestream in the history of the world! (…) We have shown that no one in the world has been able to unite like this.
Latwogang announced during the stream
His stream saw several influential figures from Poland participating in the fundraiser. Even Coldplay’s Chris Martin appeared in a pre-recorded video. WTA ace Iga Swiatek also took to Instagram to announce the amount she donated to the campaign and shared that she will also be giving two tickets for her Wimbledon match.
I would like to support the campaign by donating 100,000 PLN and two tickets to my match at Wimbledon.

Swiatek frequently donates her money to charity events. Last year, she donated PLN 200,000 (approx. $55,247) for a children’s mental health clinic in Poland.
On the WTA Tour, Swiatek was last seen in action in the ongoing Madrid Open. The Polish ace, a former champion (2024) in the Spanish capital, handed the walkover to Ann Li in the third round due to illness and left the court in tears.
Swiatek reached the final in Madrid for the first time in 2023 but lost the title to World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka. But the following year, she took her revenge on the Belarusian.
So far this season, Swiatek has yet to progress past the quarterfinals, reaching that stage at the Australian Open, Qatar Open, Indian Wells Masters, and the Stuttgart Open.
In Miami, however, the six-time Grand Slam champion suffered an opening-round exit, following which, she parted ways with Wim Fissette, headed to Mallorca to train at Rafael Nadal‘s academy, and soon, she announced her new coach, Francisco Roig, who also worked with the 22-time Grand Slam champion for 18 years.
Iga Swiatek on her plans before heading to Rome
Not just Iga Swiatek, but several players from both the ATP and WTA have been affected by the stomach virus. Veteran player Marin Cilic handed the walkover to Joao Fonseca in the second round.

Linda Noskova received the walkover from Liudmila Samsonova. On April 26th, third seed Coco Gauff threw up into a bin and received medical treatment before she battled past Sorana Cirstea to reach the fourth round.
After the Madrid Open, top players will participate in the Italian Open. Swiatek, after her exit, talked about her plans before going to Rome.
I wanted to give myself a chance and see how things went. I haven’t spoken to my team yet about the next few days, about the logistics before traveling to Rome. We’ll probably train somewhere else, since the conditions in Rome are completely different from here. It doesn’t matter, we have plenty of time; the first thing is for me to recover. I’m going to need a few days to get rid of this virus, but I hope to be well and ready in three or four days. Then I’ll be ready to train.
