LeBron James is widely regarded as the greatest player of all time. While the debate between him and Michael Jordan will rage on for years, there is no doubt about James’ discipline and commitment to basketball.
After an impressive 23rd season, James committed to two more years in the NBA after signing a two-year deal with the Philadelphia 76ers in the summer. Proof of his discipline is not only the fact that he has officially returned to play, but also that he continues to play at an elite level.
James is known for taking good care of his body through his workouts and preparations whenever he is away from the court. However, he does have one weakness. It is his sweet tooth.
LeBron and Savannah James featured in an interview as the couple welcomed Vogue into their home for an episode of the magazine’s Objects of Affection series. During a tour of their home, Savannah pointed out her husband’s love for desserts.
The biggest offender in the house of dessert row is this guy. He eats chocolate chip cookies and chocolate cake every single day, and ice cream…and I run up and down the court, and I duh duh duh duh every single day.

The couple welcomed Vogue into their home in Los Angeles. The two have been living apart from each other since James’ move to the 76ers. Savannah is living with the kids in LA, while LeBron has found a residence in New York and commutes to Philly via a helicopter.
LeBron James did not deny his love for desserts
For all his work ethic and self-discipline, James’ sweet tooth is an interesting weakness. However, his love for cookies was well documented during his time with the Miami Heat.

James’ former Heat teammate and close friend Dwyane Wade once revealed that Pat Riley‘s micromanagement got out of hand when he took away James’ cookies and ice cream. Wade believed it was the breaking point for the King, which eventually led to his exit.
After Savannah James called LeBron “the biggest offender of the dessert row”, LeBron did not deny it.
I don’t need to have all the desserts. I don’t eat candy and things of that nature. But like, for some odd reason, I got like one tooth, I got one tooth that’s super sweet on that chocolate chip cookie and ice cream.

While some may be left astonished that someone like LeBron James eats a cookie or cake every day, it also shows that professional athletes can have their cravings as well. And if anyone deserves it, it is certainly the 41-year-old who has defied Father Time like never seen before.
LeBron James lost the 2011 NBA Finals because Savannah James and the kids weren’t around
LeBron James is undoubtedly the most accomplished player in NBA history. He has won everything there is to win and has rewritten the record books throughout his illustrious career. At 41, he is still the face of the league.
However, for all his achievements and greatness, he is also the most criticized player in the NBA. While he has silenced his critics over the years, the one big stain in his legacy was his loss in the NBA Finals in 2011.
During their house tour, James showcased his 4 championship trophies and said he lost the 2011 NBA Finals to the Miami Heat because Savannah and the kids weren’t living with him.
Mrs. James was speaking about the mental aspect of LeBron winning the championship in his second season with the Heat after falling short in his first season. James responded,
That’s cause y’all were there on year 2. Year 1, y’all weren’t there so that’s why we lost.
