The seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton, often seen as an advocate for peace and women’s rights, has spoken up about the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict. Hamilton, through his Instagram account, demanded peace in the current war in the Middle East. He raised his voice for the damages and justice caused to little children due to the war.

The Mercedes driver shed light on the recent Al-Ahli Hospital bombing in Palestine. The bombing of the hospital took the lives of many in Palestine, among which most of them were children. Hamilton, through his IG stories, asked his followers to help in any way they could by donating. He linked several child support NGO websites like Redcross, ALLMEP, and SaveTheChildren on his Instagram.

"If you can, please join me in supporting the organizations working on the ground to support those affected. The scale of the ongoing suffering and loss is truly devastating and there is no justification for the deliberate targeting of innocent people - especially children."

Hamilton tagged websites of big NGOs working for the people during the war in Israel and Palestine.

"With so much hurt and grief, we need to use our collective power to put pressure on our leaders to do absolutely everything they can to find a way to end this. We shouldn't rest until every child in the region is safe."

Lewis Hamilton shared pro-Palestine posts in 2021, only to delete them soon after

This was not the first time the Mercedes driver was found raising his voice for either side of the Gaza Strip, back in 2021. Hamilton shared some stats on the number of casualties in the Israel-Palestine conflicts of the past 13 years. After posting the stats, the Briton immediately removed them from the platform.

This only occurred two days after Hamilton said he had consciously decided not to share his “uneducated judgment” about the war on social media to educate himself further.

"Deliberately not posted about the devastating events that are happening in the Middle East simply because I do not fully understand it, and me commenting on it won't do anybody good."

However, Hamilton was not the only one deleting posts about the then-going conflict. NBA superstar Steph Curry’s wife, Ayesha Curry, and supermodel Kendall Jenner also deleted their shared posts about the war between Israel and Palestine.
