He stated that if Dwayne Johnson had shown up, he would have immediately called WWE CEO Nick Khan and quit the company on the spot without doing WrestleMania or any other PLE.

Fortunately for The Maverick, The Rock did not return at the Royal Rumble in Indianapolis, allowing Paul to enter the match at number 30.
