Switzerland national football team has finally revealed their 26-member squad that will take the flight to Qatar for the FIFA World Cup and fans are more or less happy with the decisions and the selections made by the manager Murat Yakin. It will be their fifth consecutive appearance at the World Cups.

They have made it to the knockout stages in three of their last four attempts. They were absolutely majestic in the qualifying games as they shocked the Euro Cup winners Italy in their group booking their place in the competition. Despite the good form, they will have to produce something really magical if they are to move forward to the next round considering the teams they are paired with in their group.

With favorites Brazil, Serbia, and Cameroon in the group, a lot of hope will be on the midfield players who will have to give in their all on the pitch if they are to have any chance of picking up a round of 16 place. With the impressive shot-stopper, Sommer in between the posts and the experienced pair of Schar and Akanji in the backline, Yakin will have a lot of options going into the tournament.
