“Made this personal”: Twitter lashes onto referee after Kyle Lowry ejection in bizarre fashion
Kyle Lowry - Miami Heat
Kyle Lowry and his team Miami Heat had their victory on Wednesday night against the Portland Trail Blazers. They defeated the Blazers by putting a six points lead with a final score, 115-109 on the final board. With Max Strus return, Miami Heat overcame their two games losing streak over the Blazers. Though Jimmy Butler was absent and with Kyle’s ejection in the very first half hopes got shattered but Strus who came seven 3-pointers saved the game for the Heat.

Strus missed four of his games due to the COVID-19 protocols and in the game he returned he recorded 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists that helped the Heat to buy the victory from the Blazers. Talking to the media in the post-game interview Strus said, “The shooting I’m not really worried about, obviously, off for seven, eight days. But I was more worried about my conditioning and just the pace of play, just getting back up to speed, but it only took me a couple of possessions and I felt right back to where I was before I was out.”
Jimmy Butler, the Heats star was absent during the game following his ankle injury on Monday against the Golden State Warriors is averaging 23.2 points per game. And same goes for the Portland Trail Blazers as they were also laking their star player Damian Lillard due to his lower abdominal tendinopathy. Lillard helped his team to bag the victory against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday which was marked 136-131 on the final board. It is reported that Damian Lillard will not be playing for more two games this weekend.

Kyle Lowry gets ejected for tossing the ball in anger at the referee
Though Kyle got ejected in reason of tossing the ball in anger as seen from the video, it can be summarized otherwise. Kyle Lowry received an early technical against the Blazers when in the movement he was arguing a call with the officials. The technical is also being named as one of the weakest second technicals in history. The referee who found the ball to hit him thrown from Kyle Lowry quickly blew the whistle and called for a technical throwing Kyle out of the court.
To summon the situation in the right way it can be seen from the video that Lowry didn’t throw the ball in frustration it just happened to hit the referee unknowingly of the ball actually thrown to him. Lowry was seen in anger after the call was made because he knew it wasn’t the right decision and he didn’t do it purposely.
Talking on the same head coach Erik Spoelstra shared his opinion with the media in the post-game interview, as he said, “Kyle’s extremely passionate, I don’t know what exactly. You just hope that you can manage the game, keep the talent out there. The fans are paying money to see everybody play, and everybody’s a little bit stressed out right now. It takes great emotional management. I haven’t gotten an explanation yet about it, but it was pretty intense then in the first half.”
To this incident, Twitter reacts to this wildly as they call it the “unwise” decision of the referee and some people even trash talk of him calling it an “unfair” decision.
