Many wrestling fans were shocked when Mandy Rose was released from WWE just a day after her impressive 413-day NXT Women’s Title reign ended. She was let go due to her outside adult entertainment ventures, which violated the company’s policy. Recently, The Golden Goddess reacted to the developmental brand not mentioning her on its programming.

While speaking on Busted Open, Mandy Rose was asked if she was surprised by how WWE handled her career. God’s Greatest Creation admitted that it affected her and that she didn’t know the reason. She noted that many wrestlers had returned to WWE before, as everyone understood it was ultimately a business decision.

Recently, fans brought Rose into the spotlight after WWE recognized Stephanie Vaquer as the first-ever women’s double champion in NXT history. The 34-year-old wrestler defeated Giulia to win the NXT Women’s Title at Roadblock on March 11. While some fans argued that Rose had already achieved this in 2022, others disagreed, pointing out that she unified the titles but never defended two championships simultaneously.

It does. I asked the same question you’re asking to be honest. I don’t know, I really don’t know what it was. I think, like circumstantial and there’s been a lot of the people in the company that have- things happen and time goes on and they come back and it is what it is. It’s a business, right, at the end of the day, and they usually look at it like that; it’s a business.

After her social media post sparked controversy, the former NXT Women’s Champion responded with another video. Rose criticized fans who denied her claim as NXT’s first-ever women’s double champion. She stated that fans could argue all they wanted, but it wouldn’t change the fact that she held two belts at the same time.

Mandy Rose said that she still hasn’t close the doors on WWE return

Since leaving WWE, Mandy Rose has been active on OnlyFans and even collaborated with former WWE star Lacey Evans. She admitted that she has made more money in her current work than she did during her WWE career. Recently, Rose discussed the possibility of returning to the wrestling industry.

While speaking on Busted Open, Rose said she hadn’t given up on wrestling and was open to a return. However, the former NXT Women’s Champion admitted she didn’t understand why WWE never contacted her. She added that she was still young and would return if the opportunity made sense.

I’ve never hung up the boots and said ‘I’m done.’ I’m still young and all that but if it made sense, I would definitely consider it. But that question I ask myself a lot too.

Although Rose said she was open to returning, it was not her top priority at the moment. As mentioned earlier, she is doing well in her current profession and is happy with her life. God’s Greatest Creation admitted she was still unsure whether she should return to wrestling.

A look back at Mandy Rose’s impressive 413-day reign as the NXT Women’s Champion

Mandy Rose had one of the greatest NXT Women’s Championship reigns. She won the title in 2021 by defeating Raquel Rodriguez at Halloween Havoc in a Chucky’s Choice Trick or Treat Street Fight. She later formed an alliance with Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne, calling it Toxic Attraction.

She went on to defend her title against NXT’s top competitors. At NXT New Year’s Evil, The Golden Goddess successfully retained her championship against Cora Jade and Rodriguez. She later defended it in a multi-woman match at NXT Stand & Deliver, defeating Jade, Iyo Sky, and Alba Fyre. Over the next few months, the 34-year-old star continued her dominance, securing victories over Perez, Wendy Choo, and Zoey Stark.

Rose unified the titles after winning the NXT UK Women’s Championship at Worlds Collide, defeating Meiko Satomura and Blair Davenport in a triple threat match. On October 26 of that year, God’s Greatest Creation became only the third woman to hold the title for a full year. She finally lost it to Perez on December 13, just one day before her fallout with WWE.
