Martina Navratilova has taunted former American President Donald Trump after Taylor Swift endorsed Democrat Presidential candidate Kamala Harris. The American singer took to social media to reveal that she will vote for Harris in the upcoming elections.

The endorsement came a few days after Swift was criticized for hugging Brittany Mahomes at the US Open men’s singles final. Brittany has been a staunch supporter of Trump and has continued to endorse the 78-year-old heading into this year’s elections.

After several rumors circulated that she had secretly endorsed Trump, Swift cleared the air with a public announcement. The 14-time Grammy Award winner stated that she had done her research before making her decision. She added she was concerned about an AI-generated video of her endorsing Trump and wanted to be transparent about her choice.

It is no surprise that Swift has endorsed Harris, as she supported President Joe Biden in 2020. Martina Navratilova, who is a Democrat, posted a screenshot of Swift’s endorsement and taunted Trump.

Yippee:), Taylor just made Donold’s awful night even worse:)

Swift’s endorsement is a big boost for the Democrats and Kamala Harris ahead of the November election as the pop star has a huge following, as seen by her 283 million followers on Instagram. Just three hours after her endorsement, the post had received over 4.5 million likes.

Martina Navratilova believes Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner can win double digits in Grand Slam

Away from politics, Martina Navratilova has opined that Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner will win double-digit Grand Slams in their careers. The tennis legend stated this after Sinner won his second Grand slam at the US Open by beating American Taylor Fritz in straight sets in the final.

Alcaraz and Sinner have shared the four Majors this season, with the former winning the French Open and Wimbledon, while the latter claimed the Australian Open and US Open. Between the two, Alcaraz is currently in the lead with four Slams while Sinner has two to his name.

After the conclusion of the US Open, Navratilova stated that both players could go on to win more Grand Slams. She stated that fitness and injury are the major factors in deciding that.

I think double-digits [should be Sinner's Grand Slam title aim]. And I would say the same for Alcaraz. We'll see if they stay healthy. That is, of course, because that is the wildcard.
Martina Navratilova told Sky Sports

Alcaraz has suffered a dip in form after winning the singles silver medal at the Paris Olympics. He crashed out of the US Open second round after losing to Botic van de Zandschulp. The Spaniard has won one match and lost two in the last two tournaments and will next be seen in action in the Davis Cup.
