Martina Navratilova has responded to JK Rowling’s statement on the new update regarding the UK’s decision about children’s puberty blockers. The Czech-American tennis player has never shied away from expressing views on various subjects since her retirement.

Puberty blockers have been a huge topic of discussion in the United Kingdom. They are drugs that suppress the natural production of sex hormones in the human body. This usually delays a person from hitting puberty. These were recently in the UK banned under emergency legislation

Navratilova recently shared an extract from an article published in Newsweek about Swift being a bad role model because she remained unmarried and childless at the age of 34, thereby possibly setting a bad example for the young girls who idolize her.

While many already bashed the author of the newsletter, Navratilova chimed in with a message of her own. She also bashed the author for being a misogynist and condemned the newsletter for publishing it.
