“That’s hard for me,” Mercedes Mone snubs one of the four WWE horsewomen while naming her Mt. Rushmore of opponents
In a glaring omission, Mercedes Mone seems to have left out a major WWE name from her all-time great opponents catalogue.

It’s not like Mercedes Mone wasn’t one of the most prolific female wrestlers before her AEW switch. In fact, back in WWE, she held the baton up high in the women’s division for years. And as one would expect, the 32-year-old had a number of great rivals throughout her decade-long WWE stint. She named some of the women whom she considers her Mt. Rushmore opponents on ‘First We Feast’.
Though she admitted it’s not easy for her, The CEO said Bayley is at the top of the list. A close second she named was 14-time Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. Mone said the latter hung in to produce some of the greatest matches of her career. The AEW star joked that she’s also had some underwhelming ones with Flair, but they’ve been through everything.
Mone listed her AEW colleague Willow Nightingale at #3. The two had a clinic in NJPW last year. It was the same match where the erstwhile Sasha Banks severely injured her leg as well. It sidelined her for months, and she did not return to wrestling until directly making her AEW debut in March. The last one Mone put in was Bianca Belair.
That’s hard for me because I’ve wrestled some of the best in the world. Number one I think is easily Bayley. Number two might have to be Charlotte Flair. Three, I might have to go with Willow Nightingale. Bianca [Belair] because of our history-making moment at WrestleMania 37………

The reigning TBS Champion recalled the time when she main evented WrestleMania 37 with The EST. That moment would forever live with her, claimed Mercedes while having a smirk on her face. And that’s the end of the list.
However, Banks didn’t mention the remaining piece of what used to be the four horsewomen of WWE—Becky Lynch. The wrestling fans are extremely fond of their chemistry. And most importantly, these women arguably had the best women’s Hell in a Cell match till date that took place in 2019.
Is Mercedes Mone satisfied with her WWE run?
Aside from the fact that Mercedes Mone is enjoying her time in AEW, her fans haven’t missed out on being reminiscent of her WWE career. Every now and then, she gets asked whether she’s at peace with what she achieved in her former workplace.

Even though The Boss has stated in multiple interviews that she respects her roots, Mercedes didn’t have the best of exits. She had to walk out of the company owing to internal frustrations with her creative direction in WWE. Mone had a major fallout in May 2022.
But she’s still grateful to former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon for his efforts to make wrestling larger than life. She felt like her time with WWE was up, and it was a tough decision to make. The CEO issued public notes of gratitude to figures like Triple H and William Regal the day she was about to debut for NJPW last January.
