The UFC commentator Joe Rogan has been receiving a lot of hate recently from the fighters and fight fans around the world for being biased in commentary during the recent pay-per-views.

But the former UFC champion Michael Bisping praises his works and after already working with commentators like Jon Anik, Paul Felder, and Brendan Fitzgerald, he would like to work with Rogan next.

In his latest interview with MMA Junkie, Bisping says, “I haven’t worked with Joe Rogan yet. I would love to. Of course, Joe – he’s the OG or the Godfather, if you will, of UFC commentators.”

“I remember the first time I commentated – it was Fortaleza, Brazil, January 2019, and Joe actually sent me a really nice text message afterward.”

“He said, ‘Mike, I really love what you’re doing, some really interesting perspective tonight. Looking forward to working with you one day.’ And to hear that from Joe – yeah, it meant a lot to me. So thank you, Joe.”

“But I haven’t gotten to work with him yet. Of course, Joe only does the pay-per-views and there’s a pecking order. It’s Jon Anik, Joe Rogan, next line is Daniel Cormier, and that’s just the way it works. There’s a hierarchy, and fair enough.”

In the recent UFC pay-per-view, Michael Bisping served as desk host on the UFC 260 post-fight show on ESPN alongside Michael Eaves and three-time UFC title challenger Chael Sonnen.

Michael Bisping also wants to coach fighters

Not only commentary, but Michael Bisping is also interested in coaching the fighters in upcoming times. In one more interview with MMA Junkie, Bisping says, “I do want to coach some fighters when I’m older, and I will do that,”

“But right now it wouldn’t be fair of me to do that. Coaching is a selfless job, and if I was to coach anyone – and I will when I’m older, hopefully, I’ve stopped the rat race if you will to get ahead in life and stacking some chips and whatnot – I will take some time and find myself a protege or two and take them under my wing and try to pass on knowledge.”
