Aaron Judge giving fan a high-five

New York Yankees’ star player Aaron Judge made a fan go bezerk. When we go to see a match there are many emotions playing in our mind, one of them would be to see our team win, the other would be to get our hands on a memorabilia, or to grab an autograph or selfie with a star player. But to get a high five would be something out of the blues, in respect to the tight security in the ground.

What happened in the field was a once in a blue moon opportunity, when a fan was high-fived by none other than Aaron Judge, and the cherry on the icing was that is was after his 57th homer. This left the 19 year-old Cecilia Jacob flabbergast. This gesture left the Brown University student in ‘disbelief’ as she was not expectant of what had occurred.

“You can see him come up to take the high five,” Cecilia Jacob said. “But when he goes to actually hit the high five, you don’t (see) it. But then you catch my hand after, like shaking, frozen in the air, because my hand stayed there for like five seconds after because I was in disbelief.”

On Tuesday against the Boston Red Sox, Aaron Judge hammered 2 home runs, his 56th and 57th consecutively, leading the Yankees to a win of 7-6 in the extra innings. Not very far away from becoming the 5th player in MLB to reach the 60 home runs mark. Aaron Judge also plans on breaking the AL record for most homers in a season set by Roger Maris in the year 1961.

Being called the “Harry Styles of baseball” Aaron Judge not only plays with all his passion and potential but also looks out for his fan, the small gesture of an ‘high-five’ not only made Cecilia’s day but also made out hearts fill with love and respect for Aaron Judge. Fans wish Judge all the luck to set a new MLB record and continue to play and win many more hearts.
