Yankees baseballer and current free agent Aaron Judge seizes the 2022 American League award, etching his name in the man’s mind and in the history of baseball. After shooting his iconic 62nd ball, he went on to snatch his next award on Thursday night.

In his run for honor, he wiped the floor with Los Angeles Angels Shohei Ohtani and Houston Astros Yordan Alvarez. Judge became the first Yankee member to win the title since Mickey Mantle in 1962. He stated on MLB Network, “It’s tough to put in words”. “It’s an incredible moment. A lot of hard work to get to this.” “You never want to assume anything”.

St. Louis Cardinals, Paul Goldschmidt got his career-first NL MVP slugger after receiving 22 out of 30 first-place votes. He got 380 points from the Baseball Writer’s Association of Ameican panel, leaving behind Nolan Arenado with 232 points in third place and Manny Machado with 291 points in 2nd seat.

During an interview with MLB Network, Paul commented, “I think definitely as you age, you have to adapt, and that’s some of what I’ve tried to do. I’ve tried to get ahead of it”. “You can’t just try to do the same thing you did the year before.”

“But yeah, kind of the stigma that as you get older, you’re going to keep getting worse. I mean, nobody likes that. They don’t like being told you can’t do something, so it’s definitely motivation.”

He’s the 5th player to win his first career MVP at the age of 35 and the first since Dennis Eckersley in 1992. Paul further said, “Whether I won this or not, it was going to be a great year”. “This was my best year and the most fun I had, playing with Nolan and Albert [Pujols] and so many guys we had. So, it was just incredible.”
