Failed BASEBALL Proposal

Marriage proposals have become very common in BASEBALL games, but suddenly it’s becoming a thing for failed proposals or rather proposals going wrong. Lately on the 2nd of Oct, where the Blue Jays faced the Red Sox, fans witnessed a failed proposal, and yet another video has resurfaced on the internet where another girl says “NO” to a boy with a ring.

This failed BASEBALL proposal is said to have taken place somewhere in the month of July 2021, in Worcester, Massachusetts during a Worcester Red Sox game. The video was posted by the sports-news website What’s the Word Massachusetts, which posted the video on their Instagram page, which quickly gained more than 88,000 views.

The shared videos clearly shows the man with a purple varsity jacket, is down on his knee with a ring in his hand, on what appeared to be a dugout of either one of the teams. Whereas the woman is shocked, shook her head which most probably meant a “NO” and left, running up the stairs, followed by the man and his friends.

There was a video uploaded by Twitter, by an anonymous user where the girl could be clearly heard saying a “I have to go”, which I don’t think was quite the answer the man was expecting, when he decided to propose the woman of his dreams in a crowded BASEBALL stadium. Though there have been some speculations to whether the proposal was real or was it a fake.

Though Steven Wooster a fan who was present at the game spoke to the radio station 98.5 The Sports Hub and said what he had witnessed looked quite real. “I was sitting on the third-base side. I looked across and saw the gentleman in the purple jersey,” Wooster told 98.5 in a phone call. “The woman was horrified after the proposal. She ran up the stairs. The gentleman ran after her with two of his buddies.”

Steven Wooster said the failed BASEBALL proposal was a horrific sight to watch.
