Jon Heyman of the New York Post will never be forgotten for his massive yet unique typo mistake of naming the AL MVP Aaron Judge as ‘Arson Judge’. Well, it may be true that Judge’s recent signing with the New York Yankees has indeed set fire to many hearts, but changing his name is an entirely different matter.
Heyman can’t be fully turned guilty over his mistake, as all MLB insiders try to get the first shot at breaking news all the time. Though this may have been a lesson to not only Heyman but to all agents to look at the report and confirm first before making errors or hilarious typos.
Nevertheless, the agent swiftly took down his post but cheers to the Twitter users who didn’t waste any time taking a look and screenshotting his update. His post went viral, as the MLB world turned his typo into the best meme of the year. Not only did he jump the gun earlier on Tuesday, but also reported the wrong news.

Heyman noted that “Arson Judge appears headed to Giants”, but Aaron Judge signed with the Yankees for a 9-year $360 million contract. He quickly turned down the post and noted, “Giants say they have not heard on Aaron Judge, My apologies for jumping the gun”.
Unfortunately, Heyman is still being roasted with the best memes and tweets ever found in the off-season. It exploded so much because it was none other than Judge himself. He has been in the free market storm, catching the brightest spotlight ever.
After his signing news was confirmed with the Yankees, many fans noted that Heyman’s earlier post indicating a possible sign-up with the Giants had given a heart attack to the Yankees fans. Though we doubt it, the heart attack still happened to the Giants and their fan base, who were expecting good news.
Throughout the offseason, Hal Steinbrenner has been consistent in his approach to Judge. His efforts were fruitful in the end. As he stated earlier, “We know where we’re at”’. “I can tell you, that’s not gonna stop us.” “I do believe he wants to be a Yankee’’.“I think we’ve got a good thing going here.”
