MLB All-Star
On Thursday morning, Phase 1 of the MLB All-Star game 2022 fan voting concluded and by Thursday evening MLB announced two finalists at each position in both American League and National League during a live MLB Network broadcast. Following this list, Aaron Judge (AL) and Ronald Acuna Jr. (NL) move along as starters with towering votes going their way.
Voting to select the All-Star game starters at each position begins Tuesday, July 5 and runs through Friday, July 8. MLB has made a few changes in the voting process of the All-Star games starting this year, the leading vote-getters in Phase 1 do not have to wait for Phase 2 voting, they are automatically given a starting spot.
Leading all the players with 3,762,498 votes is our very own New York Yankees‘ gladiator Aaron Judge, he is prepared to start an MLB All-Star game for American League for the fourth time (2017, 2018, and 2021), On the other hand, Ronald Acuña Jr. of the Atlanta Braves led the National League with 3,503,188 votes and will start for the third time in the All-Star game.
