The All-Time MLB leader Pete Rose has once again submitted his appeal to the Hall of Fame for his acceptance. After being exempt from the game of baseball several years ago, Rose has continued to rise every now and then regarding his submission to join the Hall of Famers.

This week he sent the reinstatement letter to Commissioner Rob Manfred, asking for the last chance, according to TMZ. Almost everyone knows what fate awaited him in 1989 when he got banned from MLB after getting caught betting in the game. Rose said that he’s been sorry and has asked for forgiveness several times but in vain.

In the letter, Pete Rose stated “I’m sorry” for all the things he did in the past, but his love for baseball is true. He enjoyed playing in front of the crowd and he also liked being part of the MLB group. He would like to have one more chance to stand by the big figures in MLB HOF.

In the recent letter sent to Rob Manfred, it was noted in parts, “I am writing today for three reasons”. “First, because at my age, I want to be 100% sure that you understand how much I mean it when I say that I’m sorry. Second, to ask for your forgiveness. And third, because I still think every day about what it would mean to be considered for the Hall of Fame.

“… I also know that I disappointed many Reds fans and baseball fans. Besides spending time with my kids and my partner, there’s nothing that made me happier than playing baseball in front of fans.”

“That I let them down and brought shame to the sport we all love is something I think about every single day.” Even after all the appeals, Rob is yet to announce his answer. In MLB’s eligibility list, Rose is marked ineligible for election to the Hall of Fame.

Including all the letters he has sent now, Rob has denied his 2015 letter and is yet to answer his new one. Though he’s banned from the game, he was allowed some appearances like the All-Century Team Ceremony in 1999 and retiring his No. 14 from Cincinnati Reds.
