“Let new adventures begin”- Todd Frazier to start a new career with Little League World Series
Todd Frazier
Todd Frazier, a former two-time All-Star, has a unique connection to the Little League World Series. He used to be a young New Jersey boy chasing a dream in Williamsport, Pennsylvania before he developed into an iconic player for the Cincinnati Reds in the major leagues. Frazier will now get the opportunity to announce games at the LLWS. According to Bobby Nightengale Jr., Frazier will take the stage for the famous competition on Monday.
Todd Frazier’s amazing ten-year career in the majors ended just four months ago. Before having spells with the White Sox, Mets, Yankees, and Pirates, he spent his first four seasons playing for Cincinnati. However, Frazier really rose to fame with the Reds, where he even won the Home Run Derby in 2015 at Great American Ballpark.

“I’ve always wanted to do it” – Todd Frazier
Despite being only 5 foot 2 and 104 pounds wet, Frazier was a star player on the 1998 Toms River East team in the Little League World Series at the age of 12. Todd Frazier was a key contributor to Toms River winning the championship that year, shining both at the plate and on the pitching.
Regarding officiating games in Williamsport, Frazier had this to say: “Everything is coming full circle a little bit,” Frazier said. “It’s something I’ve always wanted to do, especially for the Little League World Series since I’ve been a part of it. I know it and understand it really well. Kind of kickstart my second career here.”
In addition to being one of ESPN’s premier analysts at the LLWS, Todd Frazier will be honored for his brilliance in 1998 by being inducted into the Williamsport Hall of Fame. A true honor.
