“This is my f**king house”- Vladimir Guerrero Jr. leads Blue Jays to biggest win of 2022, announces Toronto is not AT ALL afraid

On Monday, the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the New York Yankees 3-2, which proved to be their biggest win of the season. All thanks to Vladimir Guerrero Jr. who with an amazing RBI single to the left field, in the 10th inning walking off the Yankees led the Blue Jays to their biggest win of 2022.

After Monday’s game, the fans’ excitement shifted from Aaron Judge on his way to make history, to Vladimir Guerrero Jr. leading the Blue Jays to 2 ½ games over the Bay Rays and 3 games over the Mariners in the AL Central Wild Card race. What a day it had been for Guerrero Jr.

“It’s a big win against a good team. This is a big series, obviously,” Kevin Gausman said. “We’re chasing something. We know that they need to win one more to celebrate here. We’d like to win all three here and not let them do that.”

Celebrations began as soon as Vladimir Guerrero Jr. came back to the mound, with his fellow teammates taking his part and bathing him with any and every kind of beverage they could get their hands on in the dugout. Making it very coherent that this was his house, he said “This is my house, My house.”

Fans have eagerly been waiting for Guerrero to return to his 2021 form. With last Mondays game, he’s made one thing very clear, that he’s going to play fearlessly and for the fun of it. “We’re not afraid to fail,” Guerrero said. “We’re having fun right now. We’re thinking about trying to win that game and having fun.”
