However, he has achieved yet another remarkable milestone by securing the top position in the 2023 IBJJF Masters World Jiu-jitsu competition. This has further strengthened his case in a potential but rather entertaining showdown between him and Bradley Martyn.
Competing in the featherweight gi division ( 154.6 pounds ) Johnson showcased his exceptional skills. Footage from the event portrayed his precise execution of an armbar on one of his opponents while displaying clear dominance over another. This was the first time Mighty Mouse had ever competed in a competitive BJJ tournament.
Demetrious Johnson had a lengthy UFC career spanning around eight years. In those, he fought 21 fights, losing only two of them. Demetrious Johnson won the UFC title in 2012 when he defeated Joseph Benavidez at UFC 152.
