Hip-hop superstar Drake bet a whopping $850,000 against Dillon Danis in his bout against Logan Paul. Drake bet a massive amount on the knockout prop, believing that Paul would KO Danis. The matchup saw Danis disqualified for attempting a leg drag-down on Paul. Following this, he called out Drake in his interview with Piers Morgan.

“I thought we were friends, but that’s messed up, ” said Danis when asked if he had a message for Drake on the Piers Morgan Uncensored show. “You know Logan’s not one of us. We don’t sue; we don’t do lawsuits. You know Drake is a gangster like me. We don’t do that kind of stuff“. Danis expressed his sadness at the fact that Drake would side with influencer Paul over him in the lawsuit tussle. The grudge match was prominent when Danis trolled Paul’s fiance, Nina Agdal, with overtly compromising photos. Agdal had chosen to file a restraining order against the MMA star.

During the interview, Morgan called out Danis about fulfilling his promise of distributing his payment. Previously, he had promised to forfeit all of his money from the fight if he lost. Danis denied any notion of honoring the agreement. He clarified and stressed that he never shook on it and hoped for the decision to be reversed. Danis reported winning $1 Million US Dollars from the 6-round bout.

Danis also said that Paul swung at him while he was down on the canvas. He also believed his appeal motion would be grantable, as multiple security personnel entered the ring at the end of the match. According to the Association of Boxing Commissions and Combat Sports, that should not be the case. Hence, he felt he had a justifiable premise to overturn the appeal and defeat Paul.

BJJ star Dillon Danis, the 30-year-old training partner of UFC superstar Conor McGregor, got disqualified against Logan Paul in their boxing bout. Fighting at the Misfits Prime Card, Danis tried to grapple down Paul illegally and incited a brawl that made the referee disqualify him. Previously, Drake had revealed betting against the MMA fighter in favor of Paul winning. Danis eventually took to X and chose to react to this.

On not facing defeat by a knockout, Danis banked on the technicality loophole to call out to Drake. Danis took no subtle amount of punishment in the matchup. He was out of place against the influencer/boxer early on. Logan had the better output, and Danis could not find momentum. Danis went on Twitter to call out Drake for his bet.

There is no official statement or motivation from Danis’ side yet after his loss. Paul, however, has challenged WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio to a bout for the United States Championship. Talks are circulating about WWE advertising Paul to appear in the promotion at an upcoming date. Although it was first under consideration that  Paul vs. Mysterio next month at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia would not happen, nothing is yet confirmed.
