Demetrious Johnson is still as exciting as ever. The legendary flyweight is showing no signs of slowing down even after 15 years of professional fighting. DJ’s latest win against ONE Championship’s Adriano Moraes has got MMA fans buzzing over the flyweight’s greatness.
Earlier today, at ONE on Prime Video 1, Demetrious Johnson got the chance to seek revenge against Adriano Moraes for his loss at ONE on TNT 1 in 2021. The former UFC flyweight champion was knocked out during the first matchup and was dethroned as the ONE flyweight champ. In today’s bout, DJ put an absolute clinic to retain his belt.
The veteran, despite being undersized in the matchup dominated every aspect of the game and ended the fight with a stunning knockout in the fourth round to put Moraes out. DJ’s beautiful right hand was enough to take Moraes off his feet but the spectacular flying knee was just the cherry on top of this amazing win. Mighty Mouse is once against the flyweight champion and continues to write an amazing story for the history books.
There must be no questions asked when Demetrious Johnson is claimed as the flyweight GOAT as the fighter at the age of 36 is continuing to show his greatness. At 36 years of age, Demetrious has fans and pros alike going crazy over his finish. The event took place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium and boy did DJ set the standard for an amazing performance in that venue with his knockout earlier today.

There is not a day that passes in the minds of UFC fans without remembering the trade of Demetrious and Ben Askren. The biggest promotion in the MMA world traded the greatest flyweight of all time for Ben Askren back in 2018 with ONE Championship. After Mighty Mouse’s recent win, UFC fans could not believe that the promotion would have even thought of a move like that.
DJ spent 7 years in the UFC and was the flyweight champion. He had his amazing rivalry with Henry Cejudo and also took out the best flyweights in his time as the champion.
