Ian Garry could be sued by Adidas? MMA fans fear $39 Billion worth shoe brand could sue UFC superstar for recreating iconic advertisement
UFC welterweight contender Ian Garry may get sued by Adidas after his recent plagarized video.

Ian Garry is a professional MMA fighter from Dublin, Ireland, and many compare him to Conor McGregor. Furthermore, Garry is a controversial and rising star in the UFC and is currently set to fight against Vicente Luque. Both fighters are former teammates, but their relationship has recently soured after Garry threw jibes at Luque’s religious Instagram post.
Furthermore, Garry is 7th on the Welterweight contenders list and is aiming to get a title shot in 2024. Subsequently, he will have to first deal with his former teammate Luque at their UFC 296 welterweight bout. In addition, ahead of their bout, Ian Garry posted a promotional video of himself, which was a response to his haters.

The video is mainly about the hate and bias that Garry has been through since coming under the spotlight. Additionally, Garry posted the video on his Twitter account as a response to his haters and stated:

In the video, Garry mentions being hated because of the way he talks and walks and for being a McGregor fanboy. Furthermore, Garry mentions how people hate his wife, family, and the food he eats, and people doubt Garry ever reaching the Top 10 on the contender list.
Garry mentioned several other aspects for which people target him. Garry’s video for his haters was impressive, but fans couldn’t help but notice that he had copied an exact ad of Addias.
Fans react to Ian Garry’s plagiarized video
Garry is currently gearing up for his UFC 296 welterweight bout against Luque at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Furthermore, Garry posted a bold response to all the hate and criticism he has received through a promotional video.
Fans instantly noticed that Gary had completely copied the format of an adidas ad about FC Barcelona. The video angles, lines, background music, and overall theme are almost identical, which makes it a blatant copy.

Hence, fans reacted to this by calling out how Garry literally copied the entire Adidas ad and made it his own. Furthermore, many fans predicted that Adidas was not going to let this slide and might sue Garry for it.
