Joe Rogan has weighed in on Nate and Nick Diaz‘s respective careers and star power many times. The longtime color commentator and former taekwondo competitor has often praised the Diaz brothers for their unique battle acumen. Particularly their cardio and endurance. Nick Diaz is known for his extended cardio capacity, even away from the octagon. The fighter very recently had a cardio session with Derrick Lewis and Rogan is always in awe of this aspect.

Rogan hosts the famed The Joe Rogan Experience podcast where he delves into such MMA topics. He has done deep dives on Nate Diaz and his brother several times.

Speaking with Shane Gillis on The JRE MMA show #2074, Rogan had once lauded Nick Diaz as the real star of the family. Currently, here’s what he had to say on The JRE MMA show #2093 with the ‘Sober October Crew’ –

He's [Diaz] cooking chicken breasts! He just piecing him up...and look, not tired. Not exhausted...there's a dig, that's a dig! The right hand to the body, he dug into! This punches have a lot more fury behind them...

Rogan was reminiscing on clips of Diaz against veteran, Frank Shamrock. Shamrock vs. Diaz was a Strikeforce promotion event on April 11, 2009, at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California. Speaking with comedian-podcasters Tom Segura, Bert Kreischer, and Ari Shaffir, Rogan commented on Diaz’s definitive striking.

Diaz defeated Shamrock via TKO at the 3:57 mark of Round 2. Before that came a whole array of definitive body strikes, that wobbled Shamrock. Time and again, Rogan has deliberated on how Diaz’s Strikeforce background has helped shape the scope of MMA altogether.

Joe Rogan once lauded Nick Diaz for reshaping MMA with elite cardio

Joe Rogan, the host of The Joe Rogan Experience, recently got together with his fellow co-hosts to deliberate on Nick Diaz. Rogan has been an avid fan of Diaz; an association that goes both ways. During the latest sitdown with YouTuber Beau Hightower, Diaz talked about his favorite things including Rogan.

During his segment, Rogan touched roots on Diaz generally refraining from hard-hitting strikes. Instead, he utilized a multitude of moderately regulated strikes. However, going up against Frank Shamrock, Diaz (26-10 MMA, 7-7 UFC) had finished big.

Concurrently, Rogan likes such variable acceleration from the once-Strikeforce fighter. Getting together with Josh Thomson at the JRE MMA show #86, here’s what he had to say:

Nick Diaz changed the game in terms of his elite cardio. He did something that was a new thing. And that new thing was, he's not gonna hit you with a hundred percent power, he's gonna hit you with 50 percent. But he's gonna hit you twice as much and you're never going to get to breathe...

Nick Diaz last fought at UFC 266 against Robbie Lawler. Since then, the fighter, of former Strikeforce fame, has been out of active participation. However, even after being away from the fighting scene, Diaz has a friend by his side in Rogan.
