There are many fighters in the sport of MMA who have made a name for themselves due to their skill as well as their entertaining personality. Thai superstar Stamp Fairtex is one of them. Fairtex is known for her unique and entertaining walkout as well as her vicious knockout power in the ring. However, Fairtex recently spoke about why she dances during her walkouts ahead of fights.

Fairtex in an interview for ONE championship revealed the reason behind her exciting dance walkouts. She said, “I always try to entertain the audience. I do my “Stamp Dance” for my fans but then I fight fiercely and aggressively.” Fairtex wants to entertain her fans both inside and outside the ring. She is a former ONE Muay Thai and kickboxing champion and was the first two-sport champion in the organization.

Fairtex began training Muay Thai at the age of 5 and turned professional at the age of 6. She quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a stadium champion. However, Fairtex defeated Indian sensation Ritu Phogat in 2021 and won the ONE atomweight Grand Prix. Despite her dominant performance, Fairtex came up short against long-reigning atomweight champ Angela Lee in her title challenge.

She is a fan favorite for her unique dance moves which she performs during her walkouts as well as after winning. Despite her loss to Lee, Fairtex still remains one of the most dangerous atomweight’s and is widely considered to be one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world.

Stamp Fairtex is set to challenge for the interim atomweight title

Fairtex is known for her aggressive and technical striking style. She is also a skilled grappler and is constantly evolving her MMA game. She is one of the most popular and successful female athletes in ONE Championship. However, she keeps her eyes set on the atomweight gold.

Fairtex is set to fight former UFC fighter, Ham Seo Hee for the interim atomweight championship. She will look forward to showing up in the best shape at ONE Fight Night 14 as it will be her second shot at the title. Fairtex will be competing for the title at ONE Fight Night 14 which will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video on September 29th, 2023. She will look to put on a dominant performance in order to fight for the title again.
