Bare Knuckle boxing has gained momentum in recent years. One of the reasons for its popularity is ex-UFC fighter Mike Perry. Perry defeated the likes of Luke Rockhold, Michael Venom Page, and Eddie Alvarez. BKFC is the premier promotion for bare-knuckle boxing. Recently, a video clip of a bare-knuckle fight went viral on social media.

The fight was the co-main event of BKFC 38, between Issac “The Honey Badger” Doolittle and “Brutal” Jake Bostwick in a light heavyweight fight. It was Bostwick himself who uploaded the viral clip on his Instagram. This is what he captioned the post.

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Florida hosted BKFC 38 on April 21, 2023. Dat Nguen headlined the event against Daniel Straus. Nonetheless, the Doolittle vs Bostwick fight stole the show at the event. Both knocked each other down in the fight that ended in a majority draw. The brutal violence in the fight was the main reason the video clip of the fight went viral on social media.

Former UFC BMF champion Jorge Masvidal has a bare-knuckle MMA promotion, the Gamebred Fighting Championship. However, BKFC is the premier bare-knuckle fight promotion in the world. Moreover, their recent event, BKFC 56, headlined by Mike Perry and Eddie Alvarez, was a big success. Perry won the fight for the symbolic King of Violence Championship. The championship was somewhat an equivalent of the BMF title in the UFC.
