MMA’s popularity soared after Conor McGregor arrived in the UFC. His iconic fights against Jose Aldo, Nate Diaz, and Khabib Nurmagomedov made him a household name, making MMA popular. It is one of the reasons for an increase in the number of street fights recently. Moreover, fight fans even find similarities between altercations between people and their superior MMA equivalent.
A recent altercation between spouses, caught on camera, went viral on social media. In the viral clip, the wife beat up her husband after she caught him sleeping with her sister. She rained punches on her husband, who presumably went out cold. The way she punched was similar to how UFC heavyweight Derrick Lewis threw ground-and-pound shots.
An important thing to note in the video is that she threw punches while standing on the floor. Her husband was on the bed with allegedly her sister. Due to her short height, she appeared to land ground and pound shots even though she was standing. Even from the video, the power of her shots was recognizable. There is no wonder why many found similarities to Lewis, who is the record holder for the most KOs in the UFC.
There have been instances in the UFC where cheating was involved. UFC flyweight Tim Elliot recently divorced ex-UFC fighter Gina Mazany. Mazany cheated on Elliot with his best friend and fellow fighter, Kevin Croom. Moreover, Elliot has even accused Mazany of adultery on their wedding day.

The brutal video of a wife raining hard shots and knocking out her cheating husband did not go unnoticed by the MMA netizens. The video spread like wildfire on various social media platforms. It already has more than a million views on social media platform X.
Some agreed with the use of force by the wife. However, some vehemently disagreed and even posed the question of whether it is justified if it was the wife who cheated. Nonetheless, see how the MMA netizens reacted to the video below.
One of the comments on the video tagged UFC CEO Dana White. It is due to his name being synonymous with combat. However, it might also be a subtle dig, as White and his wife had an altercation on New Year’s Eve the previous year.
