UFC veteran signs with Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Eagle FC, set to make his debut alongside former UFC colleague Kevin Lee
Impa Kasanganay to join Eagle FC
UFC veteran Impa Kasanganay has signed the dot to join former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov’s promotion, Eagle FC.
The exciting UFC welterweight fighter Impa Kasanganay is no longer a UFC fighter. He was removed from the roster in December 2021 is no longer a free agent. Impa has found a home in Khabib Nurmagomedov’s new promotion, Eagle FC. The fighter is 2-2 in his career as a UFC fighter. He was removed from the roster after his loss against Carlston Harris in September 2021.
Reporter Damon Martin tweeted this news about the new deal. “UFC Veteran Impa Kasanganay has inked a deal to join the roster at Eagle Fight Club. He’s expected to make his debut on the upcoming March 11 card where Kevin Lee is also scheduled to appear,” wrote Martin in his tweet.
Impa was part of the UFC for only around 1 year. He has a professional record of 9-2-0 in his MMA career. Both his losses come inside the biggest MMA promotion. His first loss was against Joaquin Buckley in the middleweight division where he was knocked out in the second round. Impa was infamously known for being in the receiving end of one of the most iconic knockouts in UFC history.

Who will Kevin Lee fight at Eagle FC event?
Kevin Lee was a very popular lightweight in the UFC. The fighter was prospect but injuries turned out to be a major setback in his career. The fighter then moved to the welterweight division and faced defeat which led to the UFC releasing him from the roster. Khabib Nurmagomedov, who showed a lot of interest in signing talents from the UFC agreed to sign a multi-fight deal with the “Motown Phenom”.
Kevin is most likely to face another former UFC veteran in his new promotion. Diego Sanchez and Kevin have agreed to fight each other in a 165-pound bout. According to Damon Martin, Impa will also be fighting in the same event as these two UFC veterans. The event is set to be held on March 11.
