The Tate Brothers, namely Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate are two of the most controversial figures currently on the internet. Here is why Andrew Tate’s brother was not allowed to open a Swiss Bank account.
The Tate brothers and especially Andrew Tate rose to fame in the past two years and became a sensational phenom on the internet. This is thanks to some of their controversial statements and other directives that attract a majority of male attention worldwide. Primarily preaching to men, the Tates have risen to fame, and in the process garnered a widespread dedicated following of young men along with generating millions of dollars. But one of the major banking corporations in Switzerland declined to service the Tates because of the industries they were involved in.
Andrew and Tristan Tate infamously claimed that they made their first millions in the webcam industry. This received a lot of criticism and backlash. People argue that the Tates exploited women as webcam models to generate millions of dollars for themselves. They have also accused them of emotionally manipulating women to sell them into the sex industry. The Tates have denied any such activity and continue to take a stand against similar allegations. But this was not enough to convince the banks in Switzerland. Swiss bank accounts are famous for low financial risk and high levels of privacy.
But one of the videos percolating on the internet, shows Tristan Tate revealing why they are not welcome to set up Swiss bank accounts. The video shows Tristan walking out of ‘Credit Suisse’ a global investment bank based in Switzerland. Tate said, ” I will never have a Swiss Bank account”. He said that all of the things he is involved in such as gambling, pornography, webcam girls, strip clubs, etc are all high-risk industries. They said, ” Even if you gave away your American passport and cleaned up your business affairs, I highly doubt any bank in Switzerland will entertain giving you an account”.
BBC interviews Andrew Tate in house arrest
The Tate brothers are former kickboxers with Andrew being a four-time kickboxing world champion. There are also clips on the internet that show Andrew and Tristan Tate trying to get their footing in MMA. But they aren’t famous for their kickboxing career but rather for their controversial online presence.
Romanian police recently arrest Tate for allegations of rape, human trafficking, and other illicit activities. After spending time in jail since December of 2022, the courts release them under house arrest where they spent the following months of 2023 inside their premises. Andrew Tate recently made the news after he addressed the BBC, the first media to ever get any proper interaction out of the controversial influencer after his time in prison.
In the heated conversation that followed, Tate claimed that the interviewer was impolite and disingenuous. He said that the BBC tried to fool him to get an “aha moment”. According to him, they had promised specific questions and an attempt to provide a different perspective of the controversial influencer. Tate uploaded the entire unedited interview before the BBC in his Rumble account. He recently announced that he would do any media interaction under a condition. The condition is that they pay him $50,000 and a box of chocolates for the interview. Tate says the money would go to his charity which works in feeding millions of children across the world. He says he is ready to reveal all the accounting and receipts of the money donated.
