MortaL a.k.a. Naman Mathur nominated for Streamer of the Year at Esports Awards 2021
Naman Mathur, poularly known by his in-game alias – Mortal is a widely known Indian YouTuber. The popular live streamer and content creator has been recently nominated for the “Streamer of the Year” category at Esports Awards 2021. He will be the first ever Indian to get nominated under this category in the Esports Awards.
Esports Awards is a programme that honours performers from all around the globe in numerous categories for their achievements in esports around the world.
MortaL nominated alongside Shroud and Valkyrae
For the last six years, the Esports Awards have been hosted annually. They intend to “ensure that success and achievement in esports are honored internationally, functioning as an unbiased institution across all platforms and titles.”
Esports Awards are given to professionals that operate in the esports business and put on remarkable performances that deserve to be recognized. Since its beginnings, these prizes have been bestowed onto notable individuals such as Nadeshot, Bugha, Dr. Disrespect, and many others.
The nomination procedure is fully transparent and open to the public. Anyone can submit an entry for a deserving contender to the Esports Awards. These names are then sorted into five groups and considered.

Mortal, one of India’s most popular PUBG Mobile broadcasters and competitive players, has been nominated for this year’s Esports Awards in the “streamer of the year” category.
In recent years, world-class streamers such as Ninja, Dr. Disrespect, and IMAQTPIE have received the award in the “Streamer of the Year” category. Mortal will battle against famous names like Valkyrae, Summit1G, and Shroud this year.
