When it was first announced that Marc Marquez would be having a surgery once again after the other corrective procedures that he had undergone to recover from his elbow fracture, the fans of the Spanish racer were shocked. They had only started to get used to seeing Marquez swerve around his rivals to get near the top of the grid after his long hiatus from racing, and suddenly, they got the news that Marc Marquez would be leaving MotoGP for a while, once more.

With his fans’ concerns in mind, Marc Marquez decided to send them a message to let them know that he is well and recovering fast. In his note, he said, “I’ve received many messages of encouragement from you, the fans, and they are appreciated, especially at times like this. I want to let you know how I am doing with my recovery.”

He went on to say, “Now, I feel quite good, because there is no pain. I still have my arm immobilised and am doing light passive mobility exercises. I feel motivated, because the feeling is good, and I am excited to start recovery as soon as the doctors tell me to, to see if my arm works as it should.”

Marc Marquez finally said that currently, he is waiting on another X-ray which will be done 6 weeks post his surgery. The results of the X-ray will determine his path to recovery. He also mentioned, “Until then I’m enjoying a bit of a vacation, because we can’t start recovery 100 percent yet.”
