Marc Marquez recently had a fourth surgery done on his right humerus which has had been causing problems. Repsol Honda’s team boss Alberto Puig recently announced that the Honda rider is in high spirits and he’s making very good progress from his injury

Marc Marquez had to miss the Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland, but he is still one of the most talked about person and quite rightly so. The eight-time World Champion has won eight back to back premier class races at the Sachsenring.

Following the operation, initial reports from the Honda camp were positive. Later, during the third free practice session at the German Grand Prix, HRC team manager Puig spoke with MotoGP Pitlane Reporter Simon Crafar and said, “First of all, he is happy, because he is feeling well. He will soon have some check-ups with the doctors.

Marc Marquez stays connected with his team even if he cannot be there with them physically

Even thought Marc Marquez cannot be physically present with the team, Marquez stays in contact with the team and keeps on giving his input as the team is trying to develop the RC213V even further.

LCR Honda driver Alex Marquez, brother of Marc Marquez said during his debrief, “He is always in contact, trying to know and understand what is going on in Honda, and what they are doing. He is not disconnected from the racing. He is always calling me and everything. He knows how important that test was for Honda, and for that reason, he was connected.”

Even though Honda still haven’t given an expected date by when we can expect Marquez to make a comeback, it is definitely a positive to see that he is making progress after the surgery.
