1999 500cc World Championship winner Alex Criville has shared his valuable analysis of Fabio Quartararo’s current winning form in MotoGP after the 23-year-old Frenchman achieved victory at the Deutschland Grand Prix. With his German GP win, Quartararo has now secured the title of being the only racer till now to win at two consecutive Grands Prix in this current season of MotoGP 2022. And Fabio Quartararo has also cemented his position at the top of the Championship standings by extending the gap between him and his closest rival, Aleix Espargarò.
Speaking of Quartararo’s unmatched skills while riding his mid-range-level Yamaha motorbike, Alex Criville said that the Yamaha factory team racer has a lot of self assurance which makes up for the fact that his YZR-M1 lacks race pace when compared to the motorbikes by other manufacturers such as Ducati. While analysing Quartararo’s performance, Criville also shed light on how Marc Marquez’s absence is boosting Quartararo’s performance.
