Was Kyrie Irving the reason why KD wants to bid Nets a farewell?

The NBA insider claimed during an appearance on ESPN’s Get Up that Kyrie’s poor handling of his teammates and coaches was the primary cause of the problems between him and the Brooklyn Nets.

“The front office of [the Nets] made it plain that the situation from the previous season is unacceptable.”

Additionally, it was about how Kyrie Irving treated his teammates and coaches, not simply the vaccine mandate, according to Windhorst. To those who are not aware about the precise stats of the 2016 NBA Champ, through the course of three seasons, Irving has only participated in 103 games for the Nets. He missed numerous games due to injuries and his reluctance to follow New York City’s coronavirus vaccine requirement. In those games, he averages 27.1 points, 6 assists, and 4.7 rebounds.

That being said, now with Kevin Durant wanting his way out of franchise, it remains to be seen if Irving would want to continue. Especially with the likes of Ben Simmons and Patty Mills being unclear about their roles, the Brooklyn based team could once again could go deep into a shallow hole. But the more important question is, where will Durant be heading now before the start of the next season? Alongside which stars will we witness the 2xNBA Finals MVP perform? Remains to be seen.
