Chase Elliott although being in the top 10 thrice and among the top 5 in the Echopark Automotive Texas Grand Prix, is still not considered to be a good contender among his fellow teammates because he lacks a win this year. He seems to be having a decent season but he still is short of one win, yet he stands above all in the points table with 208 points.

Chase Elliott seemed really unhappy with his team following the blunder at the pit-stop

Chase Elliott is on a heavy shortage of wins as his fellow teammates are much further ahead of him in that category. Both Kyle Larson and Alex Bowman have already won once this year and William Byron added another feather to the team’s cap, except for Elliott.

Chase Elliott started 12th, and managed to finish 7th after the initial stage, at the end of the second stage he found himself in the 25th position. He later suffered a late pit stop and was really unhappy with how things turned out to be. He dropped to 11th place leaving him distraught.

Chase Elliott got furious and started yelling at the team later asking them how many times will they mess up a pit stop during the most important part of the race.

“How many more times are we gonna get f***** on pit road on the last f****** stop?” asked Chase Elliott on the team radio.

With not a single win this season, will he be able to make a comeback at this weeks’ Toyota Owners 400 in Virginia?
