23XI Racing’s Bubba Wallace came into the regular season finale at Darlington Raceway in a must win situation and has got a solid start. He secured the pole position and would start the race in the front row alongside Carson Hocevar of Spire Motorsports. This marked the first ever pole for the drivers this season.
NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. has taken some credit for the success of Bubba Wallace as well as Carson Hocevar. He asserted via X that both drivers visiting FM Speedway for the CARS Tour Race, in which Junior raced, gave them the inspiration and motivation to succeed on Saturday and secure front row.
I have to believe that both of these drivers visiting FM Speedway the previous night provided inspiration and motivation that carried them to the front row today. Confirm Bubba Wallace Carson Hocevar.Dale Earnhardt Jr. said on X.
While Wallace hasn’t responded to the post, Carson Hocevar has. The 21-year-old rookie hilariously pointed out that he will be part of the CARS Tour events more often if such results become a pattern for him.
i’ll be at @CARSTour races a lot more often if that’s the trend ?

Bubba Wallace feels good after the pole win
The Toyota driver came into the weekend with a lot of stress and the pole win has alleviated most of it. He took it to social media to share his feelings and admitted that that though the Job isn’t finished he feels really good about the qualifying result. The session seems to have given a newfound confidence for the racer going into Sunday.
Job’s not finished… but damn this one feels good. Pole sitters at the Southern 500.Bubba Wallace wrote on X.

The 23XI driver has to bring his A-Game on Sunday in order to make it onto the next-round. But bubble drivers Ross Chastain, Kyle Busch and Chris Buescher won’t be sitting around doing nothing as they will come in charging from lap one to get the best of Bubba Wallace in the race.
