Kyle Larson, the Hendricks Motorsports NASCAR driver, needs little introduction when it comes to the enthralling world of stock car racing. The man is an absolute legend of the sport, and while Larson has achieved a lot in his career as a racing driver, his various interests have pushed him to try out most things that are thr=ere in the world of Motorsports. One such thing is Kyle Larson’s love for Sprint cars.

In the year 2013, Kyle Larson, in association with Justin Marks, decided to dive into the deep end of Sprint car racing. Moreover, the duo formed a new team which was originally called Larson Marks Racing, before settling on Kyle Larson Racing. The team, during its early years, brought on board the services of Shane Stewart, who drove the number 2 Sprint Car, mainly in the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars Series, before a stupendous move to WoO competition in 2015.

After the end of the 2017 season, Larson decided to take full ownership of the team and thus named it Kyle Larson Racing. To look after the day-to-day operations of the team, he hired Paul Silva as General Manager. Things were going pretty smoothly on the team, but in the year 2018, Stewart decided to leave Larson’s team to join CJB sport. During Stewart’s tenure with Kyle Larson Racing, he won 35 Sprint races.

However, despite all the success that the team was able to amass since its inception, Kyle Larson decided to bring the shutter down on the team in the year 2020. In his opinion, it was really difficult for him to manage the team during the COVID situation that had turned the whole world upside down. This was only one reason, and many believed that there were other factors involved as well behind his decision.

Does Kyle Larson own a sprint car racing series?

While Kyle Larson put a stop to Kyle Larson Racing in 2020, he took upon the challenge of Miget Cars and drove at selected events. He was never really able to leave the Sprint Cars format for good and participated in his first-ever race on May 8, 2020, at Knoxville Raceway. Moreover, since then, he has been regularly taking Sprint Cars for a spin at various circuits.

In the year 2022, Kyle Larson, in order to further pursue his interests outside of the NASCAR Cup Series, decided to join hands with FloRacing. The move was made by Larson to introduce mid-week Sprint Car races to drivers from various racing categories. The Sprint race competition is called High Limit Racing, and Flo Racing itself broadcasts it.

Kyle Larson, since partnering up with them, has been seen racing in a white number 57 Sprint Car at circuits like Knoxville, etc. He has serious skills behind the wheel of Sprint Cars, and they are very much on show, whenever the NASCAR legend is seen taking his Sprint Car for a sprint during certain events.
