Kyle Busch said it’s been really fun to coach his son Brexton Busch to follow his path. Kyle Busch shared the first time Brexton where he went out in laps on an 8-lap race which was painful for him adding that his son has learned from it. He added that his son will only take part in 50 to 60 races this year though he’s scheduled to race 80.

It’s been really fun to work with him. When we started, we went 3 laps down in an 8-lap heat race it was painful but he learned, says Kyle Busch.

He will turn seven in may he is very young we are having fun he is in Quarter midgets, Junior Sprints, and Outlaw karts going across the country. I built his schedule with like 80 shows this year but we are not going to hit them all I just put them on the colander I guarantee you that he runs 50 or 60 races this year at least. That’s going to be a lot for 6 years old,” Kyle Busch explained.

Kyle Busch went on to say coaching his son has taught him some things about racing. He said that he is now talking to himself and coaching himself after during races and added that he doesn’t know whether it’s good or bad for him yet.

He has honestly taught me a little bit to as I am his driver coach, I am helping him through things…. Now I am talking to myself driver coaching myself a lot more now. Whether that’s good or bad we will find out,” Kyle Busch said.
