For Team Penske Racing Joey Loagno last Sunday’s All-Star race at North Wilkesboro was a day he was looking forward to for a long-time. He was able to end his winless run in a dominant fashion by leading 199 of 200 laps and won the $1 million prize money, while also gaining solid positive momentum. The unfortunate misses the was the fact that his win didn’t get the limelight it deserved.

All the attention went to Kyle Busch and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. The RCR veteran was punched in the face by the No:47 Chevy driver for wrecking him on lap two of the race. The drama around the incident took all the attention in the media and NASCAR also did over the top premotion on it. As Denny Hamlin put it “nobody gives a s***” about the No:22 teams win.

In his appearance in the Dale Jr. Download podcast Joey Logano cracked few jokes about the limelight as well. In the same discussion, he also pointed out that due to the intense nature of the sport, both Stenhouse and Busch would be coming to Coca Cola 600 this Sunday with grudge for each other.

It’s not gonna be the case. Drivers hold grudges, man. Our sport is such an eye for an eye type of situation. It’s self-policing for those reasons. I hate being in those altercations, it sucks. It happens. It’s part of the nature of our sport. If you’re gonna be an aggressive racer, you’re gonna be in those scenarios and you’re emotions will sometimes get the best of you.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. isn’t ready to reach out to Kyle Busch

While talking about the potentially squashing the beef by reaching out to Busch, Stenhouse Jr. pointed out that he isn’t ready to go out of his way for it. He reckons crashing him on purpose at NWB was over the line by the two times champion.

I have not. I don’t plan on going out of my way to reach out to him. Where I stand, I feel like he still crashed with me on purpose, and I think that that’s way over the line.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. said.

The beef between the two races might continue at Charllotte or go beyond that weekend. It would be intrusting to see how the drama would playout considering both drivers are big characters who doesn’t like to give up.
