Ex-NASCAR Cup champion Kevin Harvick expects Chase Elliott to make it into the season finale winning the Martinsville cutoff race.

The 2024 NASCAR Cup season saw Chase Elliott bouncing back from the worst season of his career (2023) with a win and a playoff run that so far has gone as deep as R-8. The 2020 Cup champion now finds himself in a must-win situation as the cutoff race at Martinsville in order get into his second championship-4 in the Next-Gen era.
2014 Cup champion Kevin Harvick expects the hard work of the No: Chevy team to yield a win in the Martinsville race. In the latest episode of his podcast, the ex-SHR driver pointed out that Chase Elliott has now found a new level of aggression while racing, which is getting him good results and Harvick expects this continue.
While further talking about the point, Kevin Harvick pointed out that Chase Elliott have done a great job with adapting with the new style of racing with the Next-Gen car. He asserted Elliott has gained a different mentality needed t thrive in the Next-Gen era.

The ex-Stewart Haas Racing driver while talking in the same podcast shared his expectations for the Martinsville race. With Elliott, William Byron, Kyle Larson and Denny Hamlin in desperation for championship-4 entry, the race is going to fantastic.
The 2024 season is in the crossroads for many of the championship contenders and all of them will be going all gun blazing in the cut-off race. It will be interesting to see how the race will playout at Martinsville Speedway.
