Kevin Harvick blames RFK Racing’s “inconsistency” for Brad Keselowski’s elimination
RFK Racing owner driver Brad Keselowski got eliminated from the playoff because of the poor cars they fielded in the last four races.

One of the biggest shocks of the playoff Round of 16 was 2012 Cup champion Brad Keselowski’s failure to make it out of the first playoff round. His win in the regular season gave RFK Racing the confidence to bounce back, but it wasn’t enough as they failed deliver every other weekend resulting in the current disappointment.
2014 Cup champion Kevin Harvick assessed the veteran racer’s elimination and blamed it on the inconsistency of the team. He asserted that other than the five race mid-regular season moment the team had, they have been just a hit or miss side on the track. It is a trend something that has confused most of the NASCAR nation.
He then talked about how Chris Buescher played the spoiler and secured the odd with at Watkins Glen. Harvick pointed out that not giving similar cars week to week, means they can’t use the momentum on their side. RFK is following the trend of two good races and then our bad races though out the season and it needs to end for them to get better.
Brad Keselowski has promised a comeback in 2025
Following the disappointing elimination, Keselowski explained his goals for the future. He understands RFK is a team capable of a championship contender, they just have to be more productive. They have to field faster cars to be competitive and in order to do that should work on being consistency.
The ex-champion seems to be confident about a potential comeback and positioning his team as an elite side before him eventually retiring. It will be interesting to see how the remaining seven races of the year and the upcoming season would playout for the veteran.
