Former Cup Champion’s Kyle Busch and Kurt Busch are two of the most successful drivers in the history of NASCAR. They are the most accomplished sibling duo in the sport, ahead of the Allison brothers and has a legacy that only a handful of drivers in the premier stock car racing series history can ever match.

Recently 2014 NASCAR Cup champion Kevin Harvick was asked to choose the best racer between Kurt Busch and Kyle Busch by a fan on X. The retired racer names the current Richard Childress Racing No:8 Chevy driver Kyle as his pic. The trio over the years has been part of some of the most iconic moments ever when competing for championships in the top-tier.

Kyle Busch is statically the most successful racer among the two. He has won over 63 Cup races; 102 Xfinity race wins and 66 Truck race wins. He has a combined 231 wins in the national tier championships in the sport, making him the winningest driver in the history ahead of the one and only Richard “King” Petty.

Kurt Busch on the other hand is known for his ability to make any cars races fast. The 2004 Cup champion has won 34 races in the premier series. He has also won five Xfinity and four Truck series races in his career. Both brothers are among the 75 Greatest racers ever of the sport and their record of most accomplished siblings might never get broken.

NASCAR fans on X had a mixed reaction to Kevin Harvick taking Kyle as the best Busch brother. Some were quick to side with him as the RCR driver is the most accomplished of the two and is still going strong in the premier division.

But some sided with Kurt Busch and pointed out that the current 23XI Racing mentor’s form and consistency can’t be overlooked. They believe Kurt deserves a place on the same tier as his brother Kyle. Some support that came for Kyle was the result of the fandom he enjoys over Kyle who has been one of the most disliked in the community.

While there are some arguments that can be made in favour of Kurt Busch being equal to his brother, at the end of the Kyle Busch’s accomplishments speaks for himself. The RCR star is without a doubt deserves a place among the top-5 driver ever in the sport while there has been driver that are on the same or better level than Kurt.
