The 2024 NASCAR Cup season has been a disappointing journey for two times Cup champion Kyle Busch. With just seven races left in the regular season, he is over 100 points off the cut-line for last-16 and isn’t showing any signs of making it into the playoff by winning, as RCR hasn’t given him a capable car yet.

One of the main reasons for his poor 2024 run has been his bad luck. With the slow cars RCR has been fielding for him, Kyle Busch has found himself in the battle for midfield positions where there is high chances of getting caught up in someone else’s mess. That has been the case for Busch every other race he had a top-10 worthy car this season.

Ex-Cup champion Kevin Harvick, who raced against Kyle Busch from the RCR driver’s debut till 2023, pointed out that he is having the worst bad luck cycle at the time. He hilariously urged other drivers to keep a distance from the No:8 car at the track as the veteran driver in it has been plagued with bad luck.

He is on the worst bad luck cycle of anyone on the circuit right now. It is bad. Don't go around Kyle Busch right now, because if you want bad luck, don't get around that guy because he is plagued with bad luck.

Kevin Harvick has no idea how to save Kyle Busch’s season

While further talking about the point, the ex-SHR driver admitted that he has no idea what is actually going wrong at RCR and how it can be fixed. He believes nor the team or the driver is to blame for the underserving saturation they have found themselves in.

I don't even know how you fix it at this point because they didn't do anything wrong. He didn't do anything wrong in the game.
Kevin Harvick said.

The Fox Sports broadcaster went onto highlight the internal issue at RCR over crew chief changes and other personalities as a potential issue that needs to be sorted to stop the regressing.  The team have lost a lot of ground they covered in the last few years with the recent runs and now have to work extra hard to get back on track.
