NASCAR over the years have hosted Superstar racers that comes from the same family. The Petty’s, Earnhardt’s, Wallaces’ and Allison’s, the list of racing royalties in the sport is long. But over the years this trend has come down and now there is just Hendrick Motorsports’ Chase Elliott that is left of the great bloodlines.

While being from racing family gets the racer an easy access and probably the best seats compared to an outsider, it comes at a huge cost. Throughout their career they will have the burden of matching their predecessors on their shoulders. Chase Elliott has the pressure to match the level of performance produced by his ex-champion father Bill Elliott while for someone like Dale Earnhardt Jr. the bar was unattainable.

The pressure isn’t something these racers could avoid.

You do a good job at it, and it’s important for everybody to know how much effort and time, and how much pressure is put on. I believe you and Dale Jr are the only two people that have had as much pressure put on you in this sport unwanted, because you want to go out, you want to be a competitor, and sometimes you just can’t hide from that.

I always tried to stick with that mentality and stick with just knowing that being me is the best way for myself to have happiness and just do my part and continue to let the competitive aspect of racing drive me because that's what's always driven me since I was a kid.
Chase Elliott said.

The No:9 HMS driver has already came out of his fathers’ shadow and has written his own legacy by winning Championships. He still has a lot to give back to the sport and the fans he inherited. They would surly love see him end his career as a multi-time champion.
