Kurt Busch Breaks Silence on Kyle Busch’s Death with a Tear-jerking Statement

The NASCAR community was heartbroken when it was revealed that Kyle Busch passed away at the age of 41 in after getting hospitalized with severe sickness. He had pneumonia, which worsened into sepsis. It marked an end of an era for the two times Cup champion, who had 234 wins combined for all three national series.

Kurt Busch, the 2004 championship winning older brother of the late legend, made his first ever public statement since the tragedy. In a statement shared on social media, alongside images of the duo together, he thanked the fans and everyone in the racing community that stood beside them during the tough times.

Furthermore, Kurt Busch recalled the racing days he shared with his little brother for more than over three decades. He admitted that he would always cherish the memories they made together and asserted that heir brotherhood with Kyle Busch would last forever. It’s really disheartening that the racing career of the Busch’s ended suddenly and not the way they planned.

I reflect back on the days Kyle and I raced anything we could get our hands on. I will forever be grateful for the memories we made, the lessons you taught me, and the brotherhood we shared.

Just like Kurt Busch, Kyle Busch’s widow Samantha Busch also recently shared a public statement about the tragedy. She thanked the community for a standing with them during the tough times and admitted their support made them feel God’s presence.

As a family, we wanted to take a moment to say thank you. The prayers, messages, flowers, meals, hugs, and countless acts of kindness have carried us through the most heartbreaking days of our lives. While our hearts are absolutely shattered, we have felt God’s presence and arms wrapped tightly around us through each and every one of you.

Further talking about the point, Samantha pointed out that the love they got from the community was unimaginable in the tough times. She cherishes the fact that her husband played a key role in the life of many personals in the sport.

The love that has surrounded our family during this unimaginable time has brought comfort in the middle of so much pain. Knowing the impact Kyle had on others and seeing how they are honoring him through each unique act of generosity is a true testament to how special Kyle is to so many people…We may never find the words to fully express what your support has meant to us, but please know that we are deeply grateful.
